Writing things down is one of the most valuable tools we have for obtaining clarity and removing attachments  from our spirit that have not business being there in the first place.

Every day we carry with us the things that others say or do, our own insecurities, societies ‘rules’, and the countless to-do lists of our lives. If clearing meditations don’t succeed at removing these attachments then we should turn to something more tangible to help us clear our heads and hearts.

You can begin as simply as writing down the things you don’t need to hold onto.

  • I don’t need to hold onto L’s anger from today, my path is not hers and  I must move forward.
  • I don’t need to worry about being to fat or too thin as long as I am healthy and feeling good then my body is good enough for me.

Then feed your soul by sharing the things that you were blessed by today. I like to thank my guides for their work in my life, you may just write how you felt blessed, or write thank you’s to the gods, whatever feels right for you.

  • Thank you for sending me such a helpful shop assistant. Her knowledge and interest in my work were a blessing.
  • Thank you for giving me the courage to share what I do with others. Giving me faith in my abilities and the courage and will to share them has been a revelation.

Now take a moment to re-capture the feeling of one of those blessing moments from your day. Feel it warm you, feel the joy tingle all over your body. Pull that joy into your heart and feel refreshed.

If you like you can now ask your guides or gods for their help with things that you would like to manifest the next day. Don’t be afraid to ask for physical things, your guides are willing and able to help you get to the place you need to be to receive material items.

  • I would really like to feel energised tomorrow, please show me the way to energising my body and mind so that tomorrow is a productive day full of learning and achievement.
  • I am looking for the perfect table for my reading room, please place me in the position to find this table, keep in mind I have a budget sol lets not break the bank!

In my experience it is good to be specific with your guides but I have found that it is always nice to end any conversation with them with a general request. to paraphrase Sonia Choquette.

I am open to your divine wisdom and guidance. Surprise me! Surprise me! Surprise me!

Let me know how these tips work for you in your journaling experiences.

Bright regards,

Janice Marie
